The second annual Hamster Golf Tournament was held on June 19, 2018 at the Club de golf de la Vallée du Richelieu. This tournament was made possible by several sponsors, including Newell Brands, the event's main sponsor.
"The objective of this tournament was to offer maximum financial support to two foundations that are particularly important to us: the Mira Foundation and the Fondation maman Dion," explains Denis Mathieu, President and CEO of Novexco.
More than 144 golfers were present and helped raise $ 102,000 in net cash. At the end of the tournament, the amount was split between the two foundations.
"The Hamster team and their generous suppliers and partners believe in our cause and know how the Mira dogs are changing the lives of the beneficiaries they serve. We are very grateful for their commitment, "said Nicolas St-Pierre, Executive Director of the Mira Foundation.
